Woodhouse

Providing all the amenities that you would normally find in a city centre

Woodhouse is a popular choice for those students who wish to live close to the University or the City Centre, but can quite often represent excellent value for money.

Public Transport and road links:

Woodhouse is close enough to the University to walk and is also very close to the City Centre. The motorway network is particularly easy to get to with the M1, M62, M621 and the A1 a very short drive away.

Shops:

There are a few convenience stores in Woodhouse, but the shops of Hyde Park are just a short walk away and the City Centre is also very close.

Entertainment:

Hyde Park corner is a short walk away, as is the City Centre, but there is the Chemic Tavern, a traditional English pub AJ’s club, which has recently undergone a refurbishment and The Library pub.

Food:

Whilst the huge array of restaurants in the City Centre are easily accessible, there are a few take away outlets in Woodhouse and a traditional fish and chip shop called Arkwrights in Woodhouse. There is also the famous Nafees Indian restaurant close by.
