Moortown

Moortown is a busy suburban area that is a lovely place to live, that is about 5 miles outside of the City Centre.

Public Transport and Road links:

There is a frequent bus service, with the 36 going from Leeds City Centre to Harrogate. The A61 Harrogate Road is a main road that leads from the city centre and goes to Harrogate, the motorway network is in easy reach and the A64 York Road is a stone’s throw away, so there is no problem commuting from here.

Shops:

There is a large Sainsbury’s in Moortown and a large Homebase, as well as a Marks & Spencer’s food hall, so there will be no problem with buying groceries. There is also Cook, which specialises in home made pre-made meals.

Entertainment:

The Lord Darcy is the local pub and the more lively Napa bar is only a short distance away. Moortown hosts one of the largest David Lloyd leisure complex in the country and all of the family can be entertained here.

Food;

The Amici Italian restaurant is an excellent Italian and G-Wu is a lovely Chinese restaurant.Fimore& Union is an excellent Deli serving home made food.
