Area Guide

Burley Park

Burley Park is a lovely leafy area located close to Headingley and Hyde Park. Burley Park rents can often be a bit cheaper than Headingley or Hyde Park, but without compromising on the quality of the accommodation.

Public Transport & Road Links

There is an excellent bus service into and out of the city and Burley Park benefits from having it’s own train station, that makes commuting into town very easy. Burley Park is located in close to the A660, Cardigan Road and Burley Road so driving into the city is very convenient. The motorway network is a drive away, so there is no problem getting from and to the M1, M62, M621 and A1.

Shops

There are a number of convenience stores such as Best One and One Stop in Burley Park, but there is also a Co-op supermarket and the shops of Headingley are a short walk away. There is also an Asda and an Iceland a short walk away.

Entertainment:

There is a huge array of entertainment on offer at Burley Park, with the wonderful Cardigan Fields a short walk away. The complex plays host to the Vue multiplex cinema, a bowling alley, the Virgin active gym and the Control nightclub amongst others. For those who like their sport, there is the fantastic 3G all weather pitches of Goals football centre and a golf driving range. It really would be difficult to get bored with all of this on offer.

Food:

There are loads of restaurants around the Cardigan Fields complex, such as Nandos, Pizza Hut, Palace Chine, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Frankie & Benny’s and Rosie’s American Diner
